Online store for a personal brand of curated fashion

A personal brand of curated fashion, founded in Tulcea. The founder selects each piece by hand, photographs it and publishes it as an object with its own story. She needed an online store that conveys this personal attention, not a generic Shopify, and that can be run from a single place, from a phone, with no technical knowledge.

The same story, two registers.

For whoever pays for the projectPlain language, no jargon

An online store for a personal brand of hand-curated fashion. Each piece has its own editorial photo, the path from search to checkout is short, and the founder adds new products straight from her phone. An intimate brand voice, with none of the generic SaaS-platform language.

For whoever reviews it technicallyConcrete decisions, real versions

A custom WordPress + WooCommerce theme in PHP 8. Photos pass through an optimization pipeline on upload (WebP, srcset for every breakpoint, compression with no visible loss). Stock managed straight from WordPress, with no ERP integration (the catalog stays small and manually controlled). Complete security headers, server-side validation on forms, payment through a certified gateway.

The same facts, two readings. The CEO reads the top register and knows what was delivered. The CTO reads the bottom one and knows how. No one is forced to translate in their head.

The process that existed before us.

Sales ran on Instagram, through DMs. Stock was kept in a notebook, each order confirmed by hand, delivery details requested one at a time over chat. At higher message volumes, orders started to get lost, and customers dropped off in the middle of the conversation.

The system built to measure.

A WordPress + WooCommerce store with a theme written in PHP 8 for this client, with no visual builder. The catalog is managed by the founder from the WordPress panel (a mobile-friendly admin), and the image pipeline runs on upload: WebP + srcset variants, compression with no visible loss. Filtering by category, a wishlist, a cart persistent across sessions, single-step checkout. The personal-editorial pages (About, Return Policy, Terms) are written in the founder's voice, not copy-pasted from a template. A Google Maps map on the contact page. Complete headers (CSP, X-Frame-Options, HSTS), server-side validation on forms, HTTP-only sessions, a certified payment gateway. Hosting on a dedicated VPS, an automated daily backup.

The measurable result.

The site is live, the founder publishes products straight from her phone, orders arrive in a single panel. The brand identity reads in the UI, without looking like a Shopify reproduction. Fast loading on mobile even on slow networks, with heavy photos converted automatically on upload.
